2025 Nationwide Ride for Freedom
In 2025, several motorcycle events will honor veterans and raise awareness for POW/MIA issues:
Rolling Thunder® XXXVII Nationwide Ride for Freedom
On Sunday, May 25, 2025, Rolling Thunder® will host its 37th annual Ride for Freedom. This nationwide demonstration honors veterans and brings attention to the over 81,000 service members still unaccounted for as Prisoners of War (POW) or Missing in Action (MIA). Originally centered in Washington, D.C., the event has expanded nationwide since 2020 to enhance media coverage and public awareness. Participants across the country will organize local rides to support the cause.
Rolling to Remember 2025
Organized by AMVETS, Rolling to Remember is a three-day event culminating in a massive motorcycle demonstration ride on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The ride starts in the Pentagon’s parking lot and proceeds through Washington, D.C., aiming to demand full accounting for America’s POWs and MIAs and to raise awareness of the mental health crisis affecting veterans. This event continues the tradition of honoring those who have served and ensuring that the issues facing veterans remain in the national consciousness.
